The Problem and Answer:
Most of you know staphylococcus aureus, often called “staph”, can become a very serious or even life-threatening infections! It has become a “super-bug”, resistant to common antibiotics - especially methicillin. Now it is called MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus). This presents a very big problem because:
A. Treatment by specialized antibiotics is difficult, expensive and not always successful
(many people still die from MRSA).
B. MRSA is also very contagious. It is easily spread from person to person through
direct touch or contaminated objects or surfaces.
(Even airborne contamination can happen.)
The good news is that we have developed a “Complete System” of using natural products to fight MRSA on these different fronts. Our natural products also do not interfere with, or have reactions with, standard medical procedures. As usual, consult with your doctor, but there should be no difficulty with inter-usage.
Following is some additional information about our MRSA products.
1. UltimateMonolaurin – the internal infection fighter
Explorers wondered why the South Sea natives were so resistant to the diseases that killed so many American Indians. Eventually, scientists discovered that the native's body converted some of the coconut oil in their diet into monolaurin.
Why is that important? Because monolaurin has been shown to kill all bad pathogen bacteria it is exposed to –including MRSA! Monolaurin does this by absorbing into the flimsy skin of the MRSA bacteria. This prevents its duplication and causes the skin to rupture and the bacteria dies.
All four monoestersof lauric acid are shown to be active antimicrobials, i.e., monolaurin, monocaprin, monomyristin and monocaprylin. Monolaurin is the most active so is the highest proportion. However, the other have their place also. In fact, it is reported that the antimicrobial effects of FAs and MGs are additive (they work together). (Isaacs and Thormar 1990).
An advantage of using Ultimate Monolaurin is that it is much safer than other products because it does not harm body cells or good bacteria because they have different skins! Ultimate Monolaurun is also much easier on the stomach because it is concentrated. A teaspoon of small pellets gives you as much monolaurin as a couple cups of coconut oil would. Ultimate Monolaurun is the perfect internal MRSA fighter to go with our external skin lotion.
2. Ultimate Skin Defense – the external infection fighter
As we mentioned, our Ultimate Skin Defense also has monolaurin in it. In additional, we include coconut phospholipids and a blend of therapeutic-grade plant essential oils – all of which have also been clinically proven to kill MRSA (in addition to all other bacteria)! Essential oils are the oils that plants have developed to protect themselves from the same bacteria that attack us. MRSA has not built up resistance to essential oils because essential oils change every year just as bacteria does.

3. Environmental Defense
There are inexpensive antiseptic cleansers in most stores. However, they all contain alcohol and/or triclosan (a poison banned in areas of Europe – don’t get it in cuts). The problem is that repeated use of these ingredients can damage the skin! As in our digestive system, there is a good protectivebacterial flora on our skin. Killing this layer causes an increased shedding of skin. This can lead to damaged and unattractive skin - not to mention an increased risk of the transmission of pathogenic microorganisms (Larson, 2001).
A. Our Ultimate Anti-Bacterial Foaming Soap uses monolaurin and phospholipids that nourish the skin while killing only bad bacteria – like MRSA. Centuries of use have also confirmed that repeated use of essential oils does not lead to dermatological problems, nor affect the original protective bacterial flora of the skin. We put the active ingredients in a base that adds to the nourishing qualities. The foaming action makes this very easy to use multiple times a day, if needed.
(The Ultimate Dandruff Defense and Ultimate Pet Shampoo also have the same monolaurin, phospholipids and essential oils in different proportions. They are not essential but available to those interested. The Dandruff Defense is actually a conditioner to help get rid of bacterial causes of dandruff. Many people also put a little Skin Defense on their scalp after done with showering if their hair is not too long. Recommended - but not essential
Boost your immune system with our Ultimate Foundation! Your body can be very effective in resisting bacterial infections – including MRSA. As such, it is important to give your body the nutrients it needs to be healthy and to have a good immune system. Summary
